I am the writer of Foreign Policy’s weekly Africa Brief. Before that I was the Africa features producer for CNN International in Lagos. My reporting and investigations cover human rights, environment and sustainable development. I’ve reported from across Africa, Asia and Europe.

My work has appeared in over 30 publications including Al Jazeera, CNN, Foreign Policy, TIME Magazine, Vice, South China Morning Post, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Independent, and The New Humanitarian.

I hold a master’s degree in journalism as a Hearst Journalism Program scholarship recipient. I am a Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting grantee, Earth Journalism Network and International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) fellow.
